Preparation & aftercare

VI Peels

Prepare your skin and follow your take-home kit closely.

Follow your provider’s personal instructions. Check with your provider and prescriber before changing prescription skincare or medication.

01 · Your care

Before your visit

  • Discuss retinoids, acids, benzoyl peroxide, and prescription skincare with your provider before treatment; confirm which products to pause and when.
  • Avoid waxing, sugaring, threading, or dermaplaning on the area for seven days before your peel.
  • Avoid self-tanner and significant sun exposure for the preceding week. Tell your provider about cold sores or recent laser treatments.

02 · Your care

After your treatment

  • Follow the VI Peel Post Kit instructions exactly. Moisturize as directed and do not pick or pull peeling skin.
  • Use SPF 30 or higher daily and reapply outdoors as directed.
  • Avoid heat, sweating, and steam for 48–72 hours.
  • Confirm when to restart active skincare and facial hair removal. Resume prescription topicals only with your provider’s guidance.
